The red onion with the Latin name Allium Cepa belongs to the Amaryllidaceae family. FRDP has set up agricultural sectors with organic red onions. Red onion bulbs are used both used as a vegetable and a condiment. After receiving these at the factory, fresh organic onions are washed, peeled, cut and then IQF frozen.
