Cultivated organic garlic, Latin name Allium Sativum, is a perennial vegetable plant from the Liliaceae family. The head of garlic is made up of several pods and this is the consumed part. FRDP has set up cultivation chains in Spain for its organic garlic, which is grown in the open fields, by our rigorously selected farmers. After receiving these at the factory, garlic is sorted, dried, washed, cut and then IQF frozen.
